These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Compound Travel website and any related services (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

You agree to use the Site for lawful purposes only and not to misuse, interfere with, or attempt to disrupt its operation. We may update, modify, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.

  1. Our Role

Compound Travel provides travel advisory and curation services. We assist clients in discovering, evaluating, and booking travel experiences through third-party booking platforms and travel service providers.

Compound Travel does not operate as a tour operator, airline, hotel, or travel insurance provider.

  1. Booking

Our Site may include access to a white-label booking platform powered by third-party technology. All bookings made through this platform are processed directly by the applicable hotel, resort, or travel service provider.

  • Compound Travel does not process payments

  • Compound Travel does not collect deposits or fees

  • Compound Travel is not the merchant of record

  • Payment, cancellation, and fulfillment terms are determined by the applicable provider

During the booking process, you will be presented with the terms and conditions of the relevant provider, which you must review and accept before completing a booking.

  1. Pricing, Availability & Changes

Pricing and availability displayed through booking platforms are determined by the applicable provider. Once a booking is confirmed, any changes, cancellations, or refunds are subject to the provider’s terms.

Compound Travel may assist with booking modifications or cancellations upon request but does not control the outcome, timing, or approval of such requests.

  1. Insurance and Recommendations

We may provide general recommendations regarding travel insurance or related services. Any insurance products are offered by third-party providers, and coverage terms are determined solely by those providers. Clients are responsible for reviewing and selecting appropriate coverage.

  1. Third-Party Services and Travel Risks

Travel services are provided by independent third parties, including hotels, airlines, ground operators, and technology platforms. Compound Travel is not responsible for the acts, omissions, delays, failures, or representations of such third parties.

Travel involves inherent risks, including but not limited to weather events, strikes, service disruptions, governmental actions, and force majeure events beyond our control.

  1. Compensation Disclosure

Compound Travel may receive commissions or referral compensation from hotels or travel partners for bookings completed through our services. Clients do not pay Compound Travel directly for bookings, and commissions do not affect the price paid to the provider.

  1. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Compound Travel from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, or interactions with third-party travel service providers.

  1. Limitation of Liability and Governing Law & Venue

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Compound Travel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or any travel services booked through third-party providers.

In no event shall Compound Travel’s total liability exceed the amount of compensation actually received by Compound Travel in connection with the booking giving rise to the claim.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Dakota, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Lincoln County, South Dakota, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
